Breathtakingly dramatic vertical water plumes soar to spectacular heights with our Hollow Jet nozzles. Visible over a wide area, Hollow Jet plumes put on a show of their own simulating the captivating beauty of Yosemite's natural geysers. As a landscape design element, Hollow Jets provide visual direction and command the viewer's inspired attention to an otherwise static, placid pond. And all this using typically half the water volume of a similar smooth bore nozzle. Hollow Jet nozzles incorporate a unique, specialized design that uses a precision, annular slot for the jet, causing the middle of the water column to be hollow. Precise construction and close machine tolerances ensure a stable water feature guaranteed to amaze spectators! Hollow Jet nozzles are available in three standard sizes, a 2.1/2" threaded with a 2.3/4" stream, a Din150 flange with a 4" stream, and a Din200 flange with a 5" stream. The maximum display height of the largest jet is 260 feet (80 meters). Technical description: Hollow Jet nozzles are water level independent and can be located in "dry" areas. Hollow jet nozzles are male BSPP thread or DIN flange connections. Adapters are available on request. Construction is all brass and stainless steel. Hollow Jet nozzle systems should include strainers inline with the nozzle, as the slot sizes are 1/8" (3.5mm) for the HS70, 11/64 (4.5mm) for the HS100, and 25/64" (10mm) for the HS130. |
